How Lovecraft Country Leaves the Door Open For a Season Two

Lovecraft Country wrapped up its first season Sunday night on HBO, delivering another hour of the show’s signature blend of hellfire, some form of ritualistic sacrifice, and some cool-as-hell sci-fi surprise. Yes, our heroes make out pretty good in the end—Leti defeats Christina, Dee, um, really defeats Christina, and Ji-Ah heroically comes back to save the day.
