How to Disable Address Bar Search Suggestions in Google Chrome

When you start typing a query or a website link in Google Chrome’s address bar, the browser displays various search suggestions beneath the bar. If you aren’t a big fan of these suggestions, you can turn them off. We’ll show you how. If disabling images in search suggestions isn’t enough, Chrome will stop offering any suggestions retrieved from your default search engine after making this change. Any suggestions from your browsing history, however, will continue to appear. This method works for any search engine you use in Chrome, including Google and Bing.
