Whether you want to format past due dates for household bills or upcoming dates for a project plan, conditional formatting has you covered with both simple and custom options. Apply a Quick Conditional Formatting Date Rule If you want to create a quick and easy conditional formatting rule, this is a convenient way to go. Open the sheet, select the cells you want to format, and head to the Home tab.
