The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Will Look to Fill Captain America’s Absence

WandaVision, for all of its trippy, meta, multiversed happenings, doesn’t have a whole lot of action. At least in the way we’ve come to expect it from Marvel. Between beat-em-up epics like Thor: Ragnorok and every damn Avengers movie, more often than not a Marvel-branded jam features a lot of ass-kicking. Which makes WandaVision’s sitcomed life a little jarring for longtime fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films. If you’re dearly missing said action, don’t worry—because the next Marvel series to hit Disney+, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, should come as a relief to you. The show will star Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson (AKA Falcon) and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier) in a series that might even be more of a true follow-up to Avengers: Endgame than WandaVision is.
