In fact, the change has forced Apple to make the phones slightly thicker just to accommodate them. The headline news is the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which L0vetodream reports will have a 4,352 mAh battery. That is 18% larger than the 3,687 mAh battery in the iPhone 12 Pro Max and represents not just the largest battery ever used in an iPhone, but I believe the largest generational increase as well.
